Staff

We carefully select our staff and guarantee your child will be cared for by our highly experienced, qualified and friendly team. All staff are handpicked because of their loving, caring and warm personalities. These factors ensure your child’s day in the nursery is happy and packed full of fun within a secure and safe environment. The learning experience is offered through the mediums of Welsh & English with many of our staff being welsh speakers.

All staff are police checked with an enhanced DBS Certificate (Disclosure Barring Service). As a basic requirement, every member of the team are qualified in the provision of Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Basic Food Hygiene.

Additionally, they regularly attend other courses throughout the academic year to enhance their professional development and therefore continually improve the care provided to the children.

Jodie

Nursery Manager

My name is Jodie and I'm the Nuresery Manager. My passion for childcare started at the age of 16, where I went straight to college from secondary school to study for my NNEB Diploma. After successfully achieving my qualification the learning began!

Along my 24 year childcare career journey, I have worked in Nurseries in England, Ireland & Wales, worked as a private Nanny for many families, been an Au Pair in America, had job roles as a Nursery Team Leader, Nursery Manager and Nursery Area Manager, gained a seat at the Care inspectorate Wales's (CIW) National Advisory board representing childcare in Wales, written and delivered courses to support the childcare workforce and more recently been a Nursery Advisor for National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) Wales.

I am so fortunate to of had many fantastic opportunities and experiences throughout my career, and I am so excited to be back in a Nursery where my heart belongs. Nothing quite beats the energy, laughter, smiles and hustle and bustle of nursery life.
It's such a privilege to be a part of your children's lives, watching them grow and develop into confident, happy, individual little people.
